Men’s College Baseball Scholarships: A Look at the Numbers
Division 1 scholarships for baseball players are, as you would expect, limited. There are 11.7 full scholarships available across the country, while DII offers 9. There is no financial aid allocated to athletes at the Division III level.
There are, however, other options, and the American College Placement team is here to help you navigate towards them. For example, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) offers 12 full scholarships, and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) offers 24. Full scholarships can be divided as well; for example, the 11.7 DI scholarships can be distributed to up to 27 players, as long as each receives a minimum of 25% scholarship.
